U are 7-1-2 in your last 10 games and u beat a 1717 in that run it does not matter if your opponent average rating is 1450 u win at the right time and that is why u are 1850.

Rating balances itself out. If it gets too high someone will bring it back down to size. If you want to keep a low rating and have all wins you would just be a sandbagger, which isn't good for the system or your opponents. Your actual rank is the spot where you have an even amount of wins and losses 
Also consider that other people playing equal or lower ranks and rising up quickly also can be in a position where they're not the strength of their rank. This inflation makes it difficult and unbalanced for everyone. This means you might play a 2000 and win because he's actually 1400, but he beat a lot of lower ranks.
That aside the main thing is that you shouldn't worry about it. Just let the system handle it and enjoy it while you still have it ^^
My rating is way too high. I don't understand how i have generated an 1850 rating when my average opponent is only 1450 or so and my best win is 1770.
