There is a game coming out called Warhammer 40,000: Regicide. This is a game of chess built within the universal lore of the 40k universe: a very dark and gothic rendition of what man must survive in the 41st millennium.
I personally like the lore of this universe. I also love chess, and can imagine that if anyone on this site wanted to dive into that game (which is...chess), you'd probably have an amazing skill lead on many of the 40K players :)
It looks like a really cool project. Hope to see you guys in the 41st millennium!
