https://www.youngminds.org.uk/ is good. I did some fund raising and awareness raising for these with some young people. We also wrote a thing called Stand Back From the Edge which we used in schools and youth clubs. It is very flexible and aims to reduce stigma, look at causes of stress and examine the coping mechanisms we use.
Resources for Teens & 20's Worldwide - Recommendations?

I was able to volunteer as an active listener in the mid 2010s on https://www.7cups.com/.
It had a smooth interface for meeting with people who want to talk, or talking to people who want to actively listen. It helped me to be mindful of making open ended questions and both roles could benefit different types of people.

@Mikekelcey Thank you for your input about https://www.youngminds.org.uk , I just realized I have it on the "worldwide" list, but not the "teen & youth" list. I'll fix that soon...I'm very thankful that you're sharing so much helpful information. I'll message you later on to follow-up.

Awesome! I'm positive you made a difference in many lives. That is an excellent site, it's on both of the resource lists. Also, it's recommended to members to learn active listening skills, since it is effective and free. I'm hoping that members of the club will use that platform to support others, since it is designed for that purpose (tools, support, & safeguards). Thanks for sharing, Euron!

Hi, I'm so glad to hear that this post makes you feel good! There is a public list of Teen & Youth Mental Health Resources in the Emotional Support Club (it's a place to find resources): https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/teen-and-youth-mental-health-resources-1
Sad to hear that you've had some unpleasant interactions here. If you'd ever like to talk about it, my inbox is open.
I'm going to send you a message to follow-up.-ChanelNo5x
If you need help, please contact our Help and Support team.
If you're wondering why you're seeing so many posts about emotional support and mental health, it's because for some minors, this is the only social media platform they can use or it's where they feel most comfortable expressing themselves. Parents might be monitoring which sites they use, which unfortunately may shy kids away from accessing emotional support websites.
That being said, if you haven't noticed before, there are kids & teens voicing publicly that they are depressed. This is actually a great platform for them to play a game and chat (maybe talking about what's on their mind). Then, if they are in need of additional help, it's good to have a related website ready to share. Anyone know of any good teen emotional support sites (especially ones that wouldn't be shocking to parents)? So far, I've found these:
Mental Health Europe: Helplines for Youth
https://www.mhe-sme.org/library/youth-helplines/
Crisis Text Line International
https://www.crisistextline.org/about-us/where-we-are/
If you know of any quality websites, please paste it in the comments or message me. We need easy to find crisis lines and such for different regions around the world. They'll be referenced in the Suicide Awareness club: https://www.chess.com/club/suicide-awareness .
