shogi?
Shogi.com?

I think how come chess.com exists is a miracle. It's no wonder there is no equivalent for Shogi(Japanese chess), Xiangqi(Chinese chess), Makruk(Thai chess), Janggi(Korean Chess) and so on.
BTW, here are good shogi resources on the Net.
- Shogi - Play online, free! - PlayOK.com (Kurnik) --- On-line live play
- Shogi Club 24 --- On-line live play
- Brainking --- Turn-based play
- HIDETCHI's video Series of How to Play Shogi on YouTube
- Professional games with comments
- The Spear Program --- good shogi program
- Playing Ham Shogi --- You can play a shogi game against a Hamster!
- Takodori's Entrance Shogi World --- My shogi blog

To much moving in chinese checkers for my blood lol
And I haven't really learned to play shogi yet,
Sooner or later I will though
Guess I'll start by looking at those links Takodori sent :D

Before I go and make a fool of myself by asking Erik if the site could add this , does this have an official name?

The closest there is to a Shogi equivalent of Chess.com is The 81-Square Universe. It's still very new, but it already has a small community of people on its forum, and also features Shogipedia, an editable wiki-format shogi encyclopedia.
I really just wanted to post something,
But anyone else wondering how come there isn't a shogi.com?
