lol here are the files that chess dot com loads when you log in, about a fifth of which are required for functionality, the rest are advertising and tracking and one is for cloudfront which is for security

lol, the spybook button and googlespyservices sending out requests everytime you login!  Read their privacy polices, 2000 and 3000 words long.  I dare you! 

Of some interest to note is that chess dot com does not allow anonymous login, they use cloudfront which I suspect is just like cloudflare in that it blocks anonymous login attempts from services like TOR

Why your occupation or geo location is any business of chess dot com is difficult to say.  What information their cookie sends or receives is not stated.  What research they are they doing with your information is not explicitly stated either.  They respect your privacy just like spybook and googlespyservices respects your privacy.
