The cows in the world are disappearing, they are not being killed, just gone, vanished. A boy and his plucky girlfriend have to start a race against the clock to discover what happened to the cows and save them if possible, but they soon discover they are up against something bigger than they ever expected. If fact, in this adventure they'll discover the known laws of the Universe mean nothing for the kidnappers of cows.

there is a war on earth. the enemy has discovered a combination of metals and chemicals that don't pierce the skin but rather act as a dart. they have developed a bioweapon the good guys are calling Xpand in which being injected with it makes the individual literally swell up and eventually die from pressure on the brain. however one man in the army is immune to the weapon, and discovers this on a stealth mission. both the enemy and good guys are suddenly super interested in this individual.
