Wait what are we talking about?
Taekwondo is lame!

Wait what are we talking about?

As someone who has done Taekwondo for 5+ years you should give it a try, it does have punching by the way. It's just not as practical as a kick to the stomach!
so how much do you know of the boxing... by the looks of it on the wiki page, general knowledge and some world champions it seems like a kicking contest?
can we get a run down of your skills or what you learn... from the looks of it (lame barely) any hands, and mostly kicking but no leg kicks it seems

we are talking about taekwondo or unarmed combat... anyhow your not going to be carry a bat around

we are talking combat feller weak analogy aka unarmed combat... taekwondo seems lame
and a person with a baseball ba?a swift head kick will have you kissing your stars moochy moochy

I did Taekwondo for awhile, also BJJ, karate, judo. They are all good athletic sports.

ok lets focus on the unarmed concepts in the "real" situation or the realistic whatever...
so basically no hands
only kicking
and some bone breaking... so you learn takedowns and submissions? can you name some takedown or and submission and stuff? wanna see how it goes and of course the punches you do and some basic combos

and on the weapon disarment part... can we have some examples just for the sake of it since you brought that up but I want to focus on unarmed combat mostly

taekwondo doesn't seem very sharp... it looks like a bunch of kicking and barely any hands... we are comparing to to overall unarmed combat in this sense the stand up...
BJJ is a grappling art feller and what did you do... can you give me some guard examples, submissions etc? surely you can tell me some stuff about guard passing and such...

my goodness... hands are essential... if you don't have hands are a cooked moose! and so by the looks of it you grab on someones arms>twist>and basically pull down on it upon placing on your soldiers? I don't think people are just going to let them grab your hand like that...

What is the judge behind kicks? After all better reach and harder hits.
Also another thing to mention we are also taught this intimidation-type tactic where you stomp your foot or lift up your hand to try and get the other to attack, or flinch as to give you a shot at hitting a nice hit.
yes kicks operate at a longer range and of course have more power... but it you can't punch for a buck your done... a quick 1-2 at you could put you down...

I guess taekwondo is just kicking and can be useful of course head kicks and all but it has not hands it seems...

It looks like just of bunch of kicking... not so realistic lel no punching or clinching etc... of course no grappling or wrestling but the stand up seems horrible!
