corporations have been known to dodge taxes this when many govts offer them cuts to corporation tax or its equivalant in whichever country they are in , 

this tax unpaid and evaded is a large amount that could benefit society as a whole , and increases the tax burden on every citizen as govts try to make up the shortfall in lost revenue

In short, no to both your questions.

That's just rubbish propaganda that the super rich etc put out to argue against taxes.
