The moderation on OTF needs to improve.

the moderation has the power to remove tons of forums that are inappropriate or specific people that act inappropriate and yet they get overlooked a good portion of the time. community and moderators both combine to make the problem, with the community actually causing it and the mods semi-allowing it to happen (except for extreme circumstances)
I don't blame the moderation completely, but spam threads and users who spam can easily be muted or removed.
I don't blame them completely either. I don't blame them at all for the actions taking place, I just think that there should be more emphasis on muting/deleting forums on OTF that are inappropriate or useless. As of right now barely any forums are deleted or locked without directly requesting it. Can't a mod just quickly comb through OTF's 3 or 4 active pages every couple of days? There are at least 10 mods, so one of them should at least have 10 minutes to spare to look through forums in OTF and confirm their safety. The 'astolfo' character forum has a lot of innuendo. I see no changes with the way the forum is going. Mods should have seen it by now and dealt with it somehow, even just saying "keep it nice" would be enough...

Martin and Atti are good examples. They're volunteers who do so much for the community without being paid. Cheers to them.

FYI, we'll review all comments that are reported by the community. Sometimes we take action and sometimes it's not necessary. Not everything violates the community policy... sometimes people just report comments they don't like. Not all actions mods take are public.
I also invite members to share comments with me directly after they report it if it's urgent.

Bumping content that has been idle for years, where the discussion is no longer relevant, and the participants are likely no longer active, even with adding more than "bump" isn't helpful. At that point just start a new topic.

Ok I think I understand it a little better, thank you.
