The Sandlot has been serving the needs of parents and family members looking for a safe place for their children, friends, and relatives to play Minecraft since December 2011.

Founded by a parent and former school teacher, The Sandlot aims to provide a family-friendly environment for  players of all ages, free from swearing, abusive language, and mature content that is often found on many Minecraft servers (and the internet in general). There is also grief and chest protection, ensuring that your builds and items will be safe.

We operate with a strict chat filter, and have zero tolerance for any attempts to bypass it. Our server is white-listed, meaning that players must request access and be approved by our staff. We perform a background check on every application we receive, and we do not accept any players with a history of abusive behavior of any kind.

The community is very dedicated and welcoming to every player.

The Sandlot offers a wide variety of game modes, including:

Creative: A creative mode world with plots where players can build. Many players love to do roleplays, build with friends, or work on projects here! It is a world for everyone!

Skyblock: Skyblock focuses on the more technical side of minecraft, where you start with a small dirt island and complete challenges - 88 of them - to get resources to build something incredible. There is also in-game currency. See what you can create from nothing!

Easy Survival: Easy survival is an Easy difficulty survival world, complete with a job system and shops. There are many things to do here, from collecting mob heads to building amazing bases with friends. There are also resource worlds here which reset each month.

Hardcore survival: No regeneration or sleeping here. Also, it resets each month with different challenges. Want to play on an ocean or a custom forest world? Do you want a no jumping or a sun burns you challenge? Do you want to race to complete over 200 achievements with other players? If so then this is the world for you :)

Adventure: The Adventure server is an enormous map based on the world of Harry Potter. Explore the huge castles and collect relics as you explore. There are also other incredible adventure maps and challenges

Parkour: The Parkour server has over 80 incredible, community made parkour maps, including a couple with over 100 checkpoints! 

Semi-Vanilla Survival: SvS is a Normal difficulty survival server, with an economy based on mining gold. You can also create shops here to sell items to players to get money. There are also resource worlds here which reset every month.

Arenas: Prepare for battle as you head into Arenas. Arenas server has everything: Paintball, anvil drops, FFA, capture the flag, 1v1, Knight Fight, Spleef, Flight101, and much more! Earn coins from winning games to buy armor and weapons at the shop.

Skywars: Skywars is a collection of incredible, community made skywars maps. 

Hunger games: The Hunger Games server has many large community made maps. This classic gamemode has chests where you can receive weapons and fight other players.
