The Science of Big Foot

I had no idea how interested in sciency topics people were here at chess.com! Maybe now we can finally make some progress on one subject that has been teasing my brain since the 70s

What the hell's with Bigfoot?

How is it some giant, smelly, foul ape-man can get away with hiding in the woods and yet not be detected?

It's always a passing glimpse or poorly centered picture

Maybe one of the ten million chess.com members would have some insights into this fabled critter's whereabouts...

TheGrobe

It's really only a matter of time before deforestation and global warming expose him and the Yeti both.

Crazychessplaya

If they do indeed exist, bigfeet (that's the plural of "bigfoot", right?) probably form communities, as this is the typical behavior of primates. In consequence, one would expect to run into groups of these creatures, rather than lone individuals. The very fact that there was never a report of a group of bigfeet foraging together makes me skeptical of their existence.

TheGrobe

Still, we should clear cut everything just to be sure.

DrSpudnik

Discovering a Bigfoot is only part of the problem. Once captured, we'll need to disect one to find out if they have a soul (and if they can scream).

Vivisect, you mean,

Inspect.

Pluralization of Bigfoot is Bigfoots.

Pluralizatitions of Sasquatch is Sasquatches.

According to Garberville Dictionary.

DrSpudnik

The Bigfoot is often associated with UFOs

and is seen by Bigfoot Scientists as part of a continuum of alien entities

TheGrobe

No, that looks more like this:

DrSpudnik

Bigfoot is part of our social fabric and is surprisingly popular
