People don't care about ego, arrogance or narcism of a person and to proclaim ourselves excessively intelligent, strong, courageous, beautiful, etc. doesn't allow one to become one but to delude oneself into being one.

A person who doesn't have social intelligence and who is manipulated will never really pass as intelligent.
