Why is "checkers" so hated by chess players?

Well, checkers is seen as a knock off to chess, or the game for not smart people, as opposed to chess which is supposedly a "smart person" game. But in my experience, it's mostly joking when they are hating on checkers.
That's as far as I know anyways

Checkers is solved. There's forced oppenings that win everytime
...That can always be answered.
With the best of play from both sides, Checkers will ALWAYS Draw!

Oh, it's quite simple. Chess players hate "checkers" because it's just too intellectually challenging for them. The sheer complexity and strategic depth of "checkers" completely overwhelms their feeble chess-playing minds. They can't handle the mind-boggling decision-making involved in moving a simple red or black disc across a board. It's truly a tragedy that such geniuses are forced to settle for the mediocrity of chess when "checkers" exists as the pinnacle of intellectual pursuit.

They say, Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. You've sort only demonstrated that with your post.

Ah, how fascinating! Your razor-sharp analysis of wit and sarcasm truly astounds me. It's almost as impressive as watching paint dry on a dull winter afternoon. But hey, who am I to stand in the way of your pursuit of mediocrity? Carry on, dear maestro of banality.
