In the real world, there are terrorists and fighting and people who kill. There are soldiers forced to work defending their country. There are the attackers of said country who refuse to give up. There are nuclear weapons that can kill a city in an instant.

So why must we bring this all into a chess website?

World peace is quite, quite hard to do. The people who kill say, "Why not?". The people forced to defend their country say, "Why not?". The people trying to breech the defenses say, "Why not?" But here's the thing. That's in the real world, and they have reason to say, "Why not?". This is a chess website. You're never in any real danger, and the worst that could happen to you is that you get scammed and your account gets closed. In that case, you contact the support team and move on to another site until your account gets recovered and the person who scammed you gets IP banned.

We could all choose together the way of peace. We could all choose together the way of unity. We could all choose together the way to end this years-long war.

Or we could all choose together the way of violence. Or we could all choose together the way of division. Or we could all choose together the way of wasting away at a forum and calling it your life.
