my laptop lmao
my laptop lmao
play on da superiour site FICS; which lets you even adjourn games
my wifi is on 4 bars, with a back-up wifi and 4G mobile data in case both networks die
Try a different browser like firefox maybe ?
According to me Firefox is best for chess.com and it helped me out a lot whereas there were many glitches on chrome for me
ok, thanks!
it's not a old model, it's a windows surface laptop go (windows 10 i think) and I bought it earlier this year.
in a recent blitz game https://www.chess.com/game/live/31478981027 i premoved my 11th move and waited for my opponent to move, but he didn't. when he did (it showed he had 1 and a hlaf minutes left) my clock suddenly jumped back a minute and his clock showed 2:46! after a couple more weird time glitches i still managed to win (luckily)
how can i reduce *extreme* lag? btw, i was playing with only the chess.com tab open on a chrome browser, with no applications running in the background.
and don't post rubbish stuff, i actually want real comments
That happens to me too. It is usually network glitches. When ur network is not string enough then the move played is registered but not updated on your screen. When u think it's been some time since the opponent moved and it seems like theya re stalling then just reload the page. That updates it and fixes the problem
And my laptop is damn powerfull it never happens to me when I am on my laptop because it has great wi-fi range and a powerful cpu and can fix lag easily ( cuz I know how to use task manager ). It happens to me when I am no my mobile or my tablet

clear up the temp file...and caches including browsin' cache... that should seal the deal
