Bughouse Rating Pairing Problems

I am currently about 1650 in bughouse and recently I have been getting paired constantly with people rated 400-800 or less. Only about 1 in every 10 games is my partner at least 1000 or 1200. This wasn't an issue a couple years ago, and with the chess boom of the pandemic, I thought this would be even less of an issue but it is 10x worse. Is there an issue with the pairing system? It seems I can only select a rating range for my opponent but not the partner. Is there a way to ensure getting paired with someone at least within 300 points of my rating level, high or low? Thanks.

Edit: Just lost 40 points in a few minutes due to being paired with 300s (no offense lol) who miss mate in 1s, let their clocks run out, and never look at the chat. I'm not usually picky with ratings but I would at least like to able to partner people within 300 rating points high or low of my level for bughouse, thanks.

Resigning on thr first move doesn't usually hurt your rating as long as long as you didn't make moves yourself. What does hurt your rating however, is losing 16 points at a time to an 800 opponent when you're 1600 because your 300 rated partner fell for a mate in 1.
