Chess.com became chess.scam and stands against friendship

I created a chess.com account and had 20 pending friends requests.

After some time I bought diamond membership for year. Few months everything was great but then suddenly friends requests were decreased from 20 to 10. It is definitely unfair as decreasing anything after taking money is illegal. I wrote many times to chess.com support but that didn't help.

Now I have only 8 pending requests, even not 10 but it is written that I run out of requests.

As you see chess.com is a scam source that doesn't fulfill their commitment.

Don't give money to them

Take care!

Did you really pay for a diamond membership just to send more friend requests

What's the commitment that chess.com did not fulfill

Sure, my only purpose of buying membership was to get 10000 friends

Lol.

Chess.com didn’t decrease your friend requests, the sender maybe canceled them or they timed out.

Also, why did you buy membership just to get virtual friends?

Lol.

No, chess.com restricted and they admitted that

It's available only 10 requests instead of 20

Its hard to say unfair and definitely not illegal

Its not listed as a benefit on the membership page that you can add more "friends" then non paying players

So the amount of pending requests your able to make does not change whether you have a membership or not

You didn't even need a membership if you just wanted to reach 10,000 friends

Chess.com can change anything dealing with free users, but they don't have any legal right to change ANYTHING after taking money till the end of paid period without agreement with money payer

I would never have paid money if there were only 10 friends requests available

Services are allowed to change features even after purchase. You could contact support and request a refund of your unused portion of your membership if you feel that change in pending limits is not worth having premium.

They don’t even think about banning outright cheaters

Yes they do, you didn't sign a contract or anything, you just bought a membership

Websites have the right to change their benefits even after people already paid for the memberships

Just get a refund
