Experiencing server lag

This typically affects bullet players as opposed to rapid and blitz players. Chess.com just needs to be able to adapt to the large amount of new members wanting to play.

It happened to me when I started a rapid game one time. The screen like froze and when the game started I had already lost 45 seconds. I didn't know you could abort at the start of games then, so I sent a salty message and started playing, and lost, and tried a rematch, and lost. I was pretty put off by it. Idk why it didn't disconnect automatically when I didn't move for a while, because that sometimes happens in rapid games but idk why it doesn't always happen.

It usually aborts you on the first move, and you lose by abandonment if you leave.

It is annoying when the server is laggy. Even now, trying to type this message is taking a while. I don't know if it is just a problem will wifi, or if it is Chess.com. Even so I would like it fixed.

1. If I'm on a low-latency connection like WIFI, I get MURDERED on time by my opponent. If I switch to a high-latency connection, like cellular it is fine.
2. There is lag in the application on iPhone now. This didn't used to be the case until the last 10 days maybe? I've played so many games here, but it is obvious something has changed.

Good morning Chess.com community,
Recently, many people have been talking about server lag. I thought this "theory" was false because I had never experienced it before. However, since I started playing more bullet games, I have begun to experience this same lag. I used to think this would be something "abnormal" or caused by my weak connection to my internet, but no. The server lag destroyed a game of mine today, while I was on four bars of connection.
The game ended with my opponent winning on time, even though before the lag, I was up on time. There had been roughly sixteen seconds on my clock when the screen froze. I knew it had frozen because neither clock was moving and I had yet to make my move that turn. By the time the lag went away, I was left with sub two seconds on my clock, and I ended up losing in four turns as my timer ran out.
I don't really know how to propose a solution to this, but it needs to be fixed as soon as possible. This lag didn't affect me as much when I played rapid, but now that I'm working on my bullet skill set, I can understand how this may be frustrating to other members.
