say have a amazing day! i just reported you
Feature request: If an opponent is blocked or reported mid-game disable the chat

My partner suddenly came to me while she was playing on her account that her opponent started sending very discomforting messages and questions that easily qualify as sexual harassment. She felt very uncomfortable about the situation as even after blocking and reporting the player
a) the match continued
b) the comments didn't disappear or get blocked
The opponent continued to send messages and if she is forced to quit this opponent receives a very unfair victory.
I would suggest to disable comments if this happens mid-match (report // block), and possibly cancel the session.
There is a disable chat option directly in the game. If that happens again, clicking that should work.

There is no option to mute the opponent during the game if you play using app. Chess.com should fix it.

The "Block" feature is useless if it only blocks the opponent from sending messages during the game. The Block feature should prevent the random-player generator from pairing you with a player you have block for not being a good sportsman. If not, you will likely player the same idiots over again: those that abandon or quit wasting your time, stalling the clock instead of resigning, or those that use the chat feature to interrupt game play with ridiculousness . The worse are the ones that talk crap then won't play a rematch because they only have one or two good plays. Some of us are here to learn and get better not deal with immaturity.

Blocking should prevent being paired against the member in the random pools. I don't know when the block list loads, but it might just be when you first enter the Play interface.
