Game Analysis using Android App vs. the Android Progressive Web App (PWA)

When using the Android app for a post Game Analysis, the speed is fantastic, but not as full featured as the Android PWA. On the other hand, the Android PWA Game Analysis performance is so slow, it is not really usable on my tablet unless you go get a cup of coffee after every move. Is this a known issue or do I need a device with more horsepower on my end?

My device is an older budget Android 6 tablet with a MediaTek MT8127, 1.4GHz, 4 Core Processor and 1GB RAM.

edit#1: Also, I've noticed that the Lesson Videos do not play in the Android PWA. When I click on a Lesson Video, they flash a brief orange play button, but selecting the button, nothing plays. I have no problems with the same videos when using the Android App.

edit#2 UPDATE: I poked around in the Android PWA settings and changed the MOVE ANALYSIS (BROWSER) Self Analysis Lines from the default 3 to 1 and have improved the performance to a very acceptable level.

I don't have issues with the video on my Android browser. What browser and browser version is on your device?

I am  running the latest Chrome version from the Play Store, 88.0.4324.93.

Other imbedded videos on the site run fine, but I just can't get the Lesson Videos to run. It seems as if they start to download but never complete.

Also, when I run the Lesson Videos on Chrome in Windows 10, they run fine however I noticed this error message in the Console:

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for https://www.chess.com/bundles/app/js/vendor.client.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

I'm not seeing issues on Lessons or regular videos.

Maybe a cache clear would help.

Apparently it is mostly the Lesson Guides that don't play:

The first video I can play is the Advanced Chess Notation video in Reading the Board [Intermediate (Key Concepts)]. All the New to Chess and Beginner videos do not play for me and it seems hit and miss with many of the Advanced (Taking Control) videos.

Maybe it's a limitation of the ARM version of WASM Stockfish. I experienced it in Lichess.org site where the PC browser version can set SF to 8-1 threads on my Laptop while the PWA on Android is only 1 thread.

I kind of concluded that the game analysis using Chrome is so slow on my inexpensive Android Tablet is because I only have 1GB of RAM and not the best processor.

Also, I believe the problem I am having with the videos using the Chrome browser is the result of the screen size of my tablet.

Both these issues are not problems when using the App so I have learned to use both the App and the PWA for different features.
