After playing game vs bot (as kind of practice) you can choose to save game in archive or just ignore it. Unfortunately if you analyze or do game review it autosaves that game. I don't wan't that - just want to look which move was brilliant, very good, good, error, blunder etc. Just check it (for curiosity) and not produce bunch of practice games in the archive. Is there possibility of avoiding that auto-save or (if it is not possible) to delete games vs bots from archive to not litter/clutter it up tear ?

My understanding that save was required to get the review to actually run.  You can delete bot games from the archive by selecting them and clicking the delete trash can icon.

Thanx. That in fact works. I never noticed - I've searched possibility of deleting bot game from the archive list and there is no any. Just have to enter particular game and if it's bot game trash icon appears. Othewise (game vs another player) no. OK, now I'll be able to delete game after review. Thanx again.

Who are the idiots who thought that auto saving games was a bad idea? I mean, I'm a working guy, when I play a game of chess I want to learn from it.. I don't want it to be FECKIN WASTED TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't play or analyze games at work... I have to WORK. What a novel idea??? How about you AUTO SAVE GAMES chess.com???? ...and then the people who PAY FOR YOUR damn service can decide whether they want to delete the game or not. DON'T JUST DELETE THE GAME IF THE USER ACCIDENTALLY PRESSES THE WRONG BUTTON!!!! WHAT A BRAIN DEAD IDEA. Looks like the people who work for chess.com are doing other things rather than WORKING or making the site useful. GREAT JOB IDIOTS!

A lot of people don't want vs Computer games saved at all and when the vs Computer section was first rolled out, it wasn't an option at all. I don't know all the design decisions but it likely came down to the thought that most people would not want to save the games and no support had to be added to store and retrieve games (less coding, less database use and load).

Due to overall feedback, the option to save was added and eventually, the Game Review process for web needed to save the games to work correctly. That reason was probably to limit the need to update review code to do it without saving.
