How to make Bot play slower like a human opponent

A few years ago I almost always played against the computer. For the last 3 years I have almost only played against humans. Now I'm mixing it up and I have remembered one reason why I quit playing the Chess.com computer opponents (now called "Bots"). Namely, they make their moves so fast, it is not an accurate simulation of a game. In a normal game, you have your own time with which to analyze the board, but you also have all the time of your opponent. But when the Bots make instant moves, I end up making moves with only half the time spent thinking that I would have against a person. SO MY QUESTION IS: Does anyone know a way to make the Bots play at a more human-like pace????

Is there any way to slow down the response time for a bot, any bot?

No, there's no setting for that.

LL-Clawz-YT

yes there is

There is a time control option, but it doesn't make the bots play more slowly, unless something recently changed.

Actually, there is a setting that changes the maximum time bots can take to move

Couldn't you just say how, rather than the scant reply you made?

No, there's no setting like that on the web or the Android app. I also don't believe it exists on the iOS app either.

You can play the bots with a time control, but the bots still play fast, even in slower time controls as far as I'm aware.

You guys are nuts

I'll check right now

Maybe they changed it?

There was an update

If you play bots with a time control, they will play slower.

how do you slow down the bot's response to a move? I find it incredibly annoying that the bot moves so quickly, especially when I forget to turn off the sound. I play much better with human opponents -- I'm terrible - below 300 -- than I do with the bot and I think that's part of the reason why I do better with humans.

It has to be an easy fix.

Don't the admins read this?

Make the change, why not?

There's not an option for that.

Seriously, it can't be that hard to do and it is perhaps the single biggest improvement you could make to **facilitate learning** on an otherwise incredibly good website. Why not go from incredibly good to incredibly excellent? Give your customers what they want. It's good marketing.
