I'm not aware of any systemic issues today.
Inadequate servers

Multiple "server overload" messages today.
Yeah, there was an issue for a little while today but it's been resolved.

No live chess at present (plus "server overload" message on these forums at first. One problem or two?)

@martinbchess and I are (aware).

The chess.com site was slow loading pages yesterday. Its the same again now and it won't pair me with an opponent in Live chess.

or is Elon Musk also trying to "optimizing" it as many other things at the moment?
Analyzing games still doesn't work again as few days ago.
If this continues I'll cancel my membership. Burning money in non reachable infrastructure can be done more efficient .

There were issues earlier in the day but had been resolved by the time of your post.
Can you think of any reason why I didn't post when I was unable to access the forums?

I believe the issues had been resolved a couple of hours before your post; it wasn't clear if your post was about issues just before posting or much earlier. That's why I posted that there weren't any issues around that time.

The issue is, they take more players than they have capacity to manage. And so it breaks down. When you are taking a hundred bucks a year from people, it is a business. And if you are not supplying your product, but taking the customers money, you are a crook
Maybe 3 weeks now I am waiting 5-20 minutes to get paired to ANYONE to get a live game. And often its the same few people.
This BUSINESS needs to either offer refunds, or offer extensions to subscribed periods
The lack of communication is disgraceful, and insulting.
They knew this was going to happen. Stop using bandaids, fix your problem, and stop ripping the paying customer off
Your brand is being damaged. Again

Martin, thank You very much for your efforts. Taking this opportunity, I would like to draw Your attention to a pattern. The server (site) hangs (works slowly) on the PC from 14.00 Moscow time until 21.00. Then I go to bed and in the morning (oh, miracle!) the site just flies. This has been checked on all browsers, the cache has been cleared, etc. This has been going on for several months. That is, when there is an influx of players to the site, it cannot withstand the load. Not only can I not play, but I can’t create tournaments and etc - constant errors!!
The chess.com site has been responding like an IBM XT with an 8 inch floppy drive today. And I think that is an insult to the IBM PC. (No other sites are behaving like this, and the usual checks have not fixed it).
Can't this be anticipated with a margin for variation? I am rather sure it is not a matter of not being able to afford enough to provide the service - the scaling of chess.com to much larger numbers of users likely leaves it a very healthy company these days, IMHO. Am I right?
