Honestly, this will probably amount to nothing, but I figured I'd at least try to accomplish something.
No comment on Israel?

ukraines aw mass troop movements an invasion ,israel isnt being invaded green , cc dont really need to do the are the gms ok bit in this circumstance , they might need to ensure the gms in gaza are safe though as they are facing military invasion whilst getting bombed daily

This is my humble petition to ask staff to consider at least checking in on chess players in the region to see how the war has been affecting them. Chess.com did it recently with a Ukrainian Grandmaster; I don’t think it’s too much to ask to do the same with Israeli chess masters, and maybe check in with the Israeli Chess Federation.
That's an interesting idea. But, to be fair, if chess.com decided to cover political issues and to comment on that conflict, they might want to start by asking Palestinean chess players how their chess careers have been working out under apartheid and 50 years of occupation.

@Jenium.
Absolutely.
And one could mention the invasion of Palestine as much as the war in Israel....
The OP wants "even handedness" in his own favour. Those of us who follow geopolitics constantly observe this chutzpah.
But know this, God does not favour any one people...

Killing innocent women and children is always wrong, no matter the people group or the excuse given.

We all know that this certain website only likes covering issues relating to a certain political party. WHich should not matter in this situation but they wont get the same amount of flowers as they would get from posting other stuff.

I've been waiting for this ever since the war started, I even messaged you about it asking you to lmk if you received anything from them.

Amen brother Josiah, chess.coms lack of saying anything speaks volumes on how they feel about Israel and the Jewish people. Thankfully there are many who speak out and stand with Israel.
“But the current silence is deafening, considering the public stances that chess.com has shown itself willing to make.” Absolutely my friend!
I’ve honestly been a bit shocked that chess.com has not put out any comments at all about the current war in Israel. I won’t get into specific politics (and I’ll ask that other members avoid that too, to avoid this thread being locked), but it’s crazy to me that chess.com will make political stances on the Ukraine-Russian War, Feminism, LGBTQ, etc., but not on this war.
After just a cursory look at the ICF website, I found an article about an Israeli player named Yosef Rozhenky, and another about the late Shani Kuperverser. There are stories out there. But the current silence is deafening, considering the public stances that chess.com has shown itself willing to make.
Again, I ask anyone commenting on this thread to avoid getting into the specific politics surrounding the war, to honor chess.com’s community policy. If you agree with the sentiment of my post here, feel free to leave a
reaction on this comment, upvote, whatever. But please try to avoid debating or anything.
