Chess.com has a little known feature called 'Live Chat' in clubs. Now, it's not unknown because it's useless - in fact it's almost as useful - or even perhaps more than notes. However, it isn't used very much. The main reason for this is that it's a bit hard to navigate to, and, even more than that, you won't be notified when somebody posts in it. For your other 'chats', there's a tab under the Social option on the sidebar. But for club chats, you won't be notified.
I would propose that a 'follow' button be added for the club chat, so that you would receive a notification for when somebody sends a club chat just as occurs when a normal chat is sent.
