One small issue with Open Challenges.

Nowadays I use the "Open Challenges" section to play chess, rather that the normal "Play" section. It's fun playing either 300s, or 2000s and titled players. But the most annoying thing is that this list is moving and changing really fast. Can you see the point now? I want to click on a game, instead I click on another (because the playing list is constantly moving), and then.. bang, I accidentally play against someone that I didn't intend to play against. Some of you might say to abort the game, but I absolutely hate aborting games. Also if this constantly happens a lot of times in a row, this is a Fair Play Violation I think.

So my suggestion for the Open Challenges section is to make it easier for you to choose who you want to play. IDK how will Chess.com do it, but all I know is that this feature will be really useful.

It has nothing to do with Open Challenges, that's your fault. I've never had such problems with Open Challenges.

why dont you use just the standard play thing?

I.. still want to play open challenges. And even if I use the standard one, there is still an open challenges section, so Chess.com should improve it a bit

but standard will improve your chess and compete with players at the same level

i think playing too much noobs or too much pros will make a serious imbalance to your chess

Yeah Open Challenges is really annoying because there's no time to click on play. I used it when I was grinding blitz because I knew I could beat anyone at that level so I wanted to play higher level people.

oh and open challenges usually doesnt have your fav time controls

I agree with you OP! Maybe just being able to filter by variant and/or category would help a bit.

I also think that if it were more user friendly, more people would use it and it would be easier for people who want to play a time control other than the presets to find an opponent.
