Opening explorer not including most of my games

I decided to play around with opening explorer a bit, selecting "My Games" and "All Games". I notice that, of the 354 rapid games that I've played so far, it includes 14 games when I select "White" and 9 games when I select "Black". The vast majority of my games are not included.

Hovering over the question mark icon next to the game type selection dropdown menu displays a tooltip with some additional info about what games are included: standard rules (i.e., not variants) with a minimum length of 15 ply (29 ply if the game ended due to timeout). Virtually all of my games meet these criteria, so it seems that there must be some other explanation for their absence.

It's a premium benefit.

Hmm. If that's the case, then perhaps the bug is that it's showing any games at all. 23 seems like an unusual limit if the intention is to limit the number of games that can be explored on a free account.

There's a certain point (7 ply, a little shy of what's required for the related achievement interestingly) at which an "explorer limit reached, upgrade to premium" dialog pops up, so my assumption was that this limited depth is the constraint that applies to free accounts.

It might be a premium benefit but it is currently bugged.  I have a diamond membership and was having this issue so I emailed support earlier this week and here's what they said on the 23rd of September about that issue:

"I'm sorry about your archive games not showing up in the Game Explorer. We had to suspend game imports into the Explorer due to a site problem, but we expect it to be corrected within a day or two, after which your games from September 18th onward will be added!"

Unfortunately it's the 27th today and I only got one additional white game (dated September 23), and one additional black game (dated September 24), despite having played at least several games everyday since the 18th.  It would seem that this bug is still alive.

Still not fixed.

Seems to be working for me now.  There seems to be some lag between when the game is played and when it finally shows up, maybe a few hours or so, which I'm okay with.

Overmancer
