Resetting account!

Instead of having to change the username to then delete our account and remake it, why can't we just have a button or something in the settings menu that just says "reset account" so that wins/losses/games played/rating etc are reset?

Games are tied to accounts and once an account has a rating, it wouldn't be fair for opponents to get an inaccurate pairing to the account. A new account is going to quickly get to the same place your old one was anyway, with a different w/l/d ratio until you get sufficient games anyway

A reset account wouldn't be bad if you don't abuse it. Now there's a lot of people that would,
but it would just be nice for a "elo refresh" where you can take an account that hasn't been used in a while and take a quiz or something for you to find your new elo so you don't lose all your chess games when you join back after a while.
