No you’re 100% correct I can confirm this is definitely their business model

The question is, what are we going to do now that we know their secret?
marqumax

Your claims simply make no sense. Also I (like many others) am certainly not paid to "cover up" for chess.com. Such claims are simply slanderous.

Improving at chess is the best way to reduce this from happening. There is nothing wrong with being a beginner at chess, being low rated or playing for free. Their is definately somthing wrong with accusing chess.com (or anyone) of "illegal" activity without any actual evidence. And no, what you said above is not evidence, not even close.

Enough said really!

Hmmm ! 😾.......this is serious, it’s time for me to look into my crystal ball and see if I can find an answer, before more members start to lose their precious points ! 🙀.......my crystal ball 🔮 tells me that all will be well if you purchase a membership !

If you purchase a membership does it last? Do you stay high rated or does it wear out?

AMC1991

You do know you can go on live chess and when opponents make a game you can choose whether to play them or not right?

I looked at one of your recent losses.

You spent the first 8 moves moving nothing but pawns.

The problem isn't the website, or some secret conspiracy against you -- the problem is that you still have much to learn.

The good news is, this means your problem is fixable. To do that, you first need to accept that your losses are coming from your own mistakes. Then, you'll have to begin putting in work to correct them.

You're on a tilt bro, take some rest and relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax!

Wits-end

It’s a conspiracy man. I keep waiting for that moment when chess.com starts making me “win many games in a row” to get me to a high score.

LazyDog24

There's no proof that there's any coding that does this. You just gotta beat your opponent no matter how well they play. And no, I'm not paid by the site. Hopefully you're a troll and not someone who actually believes this.

HAHAyoureLOSING

you're just bad, get good at chess. then post here.

ChessPiecesMoving

If I get a friend to sign up and pay membership, how many points will I get added to my rating?

The best way to beat the lizard people is to become a better player. Don't let them use your ego to manipulate you into thinking you don't have control, that's how they crush you. Think "Internal locus of control" I believe in you brother, we will win in the end!

Makes no sense at all. Cope harder, get better. That's the only solution to the problem.

If I pay in bitcoin will that give me a higher rating than credit card or money order?
