There are 4 3D piece sets.
3D themes?

No I mean actual 3D rendered pieces and board. Not flat images.
One of the options is just that; the others are more 3d isometric.
It's listed as beta so I don't know how well it plays in practice.

Where are they? The only one I can find is "Staunton", which is too busy for me. I'd love to be able to use the one they show in the blog post widgets:

I'm on mobile right now so can't check what is available for the diagram editor. But the sets I was mentioning were those available for game boards on the default site (not v2).

I don't understand if you're suggesting they're available in some places but not others? Or not available anymore? Or something else?

The settings for game play boards are different than those for the diagram editor. The former are what I was referring to in my earlier post.
Since I'm on mobile, I can't verify what is available in the diagram/puzzle editor.

I've never used the diagram editor, nor do I want to. But the theme it uses is perfect for what I'd like to use when playing. Nice 3d pieces on a clean/simple board.

Pieces Style to 3D - Staunton should give you that for your Live and Daily pieces.
Board Style is probably Tournament

@Martin, thanks!! That's perfect! I guess I assumed you had to pick a theme. That let me pick the perfect 3d pieces and board separately.
It would be really nice if they offered a 3D theme or two, possibly implemented as a Java applet. If that were included, I think many more people would upgrade their memberships. Approximating the game play to real life as much as possible is greatly valued by a lot of people.
