Blind chess on Chess.com

Hi wonderful Chess.com Staff!

What about making it possible to play blind Turn-Based chess on the site, without the pieces and pawns shown on the board? Maybe with various settings, like "show only pawns", "show only pieces", "show only White", "show only Black", and so on. This would be interesting, I think!

Thank you for your attention. Smile

Here is how 1plu2i24 and I, denver, high played a blindfold chess game here on chess.com.

Here is where it started by 1plus1is4:

I posted a blog about it on August 30, 2011.

 Bye for now

Looking at randomly selected games on chess.com makes it clear that many people are playing blindfolded but not admitting it.

DENVERHIGH, I saw that. But a specific Blind chess feature would be better, I think. So that we could gradually make it more and more "blind", step-by-step.

I am not trying to change any of your suggestions. It was only an example of what we used to do it.

It was the young man's first time to play blindfold I believe. He requested that I post it every 10 move or so.

Bye for now.

I know. It's all good.
