no.
Can I get a trial without typing in my credit card?

Thank you nichole! Don't worry, you can TRUST me!
Oh wait, it appears there is a problem. Can you recheck the digits? Weird.

I once sent in a ticket asking that same question, and they said yes as in my case I had had this account for so long.
The only disadvantage was the trial only lasted for 6 days, compared to a month with your credit/debit cards.

Hmm... I was considering to buy a membership to be able to view the chess mentor lessons. But such a practice does not sound very trustworthy. I might better stick to chess books and ICC...

- I got lucky, and was sent a message from chess.com offering me a free trial no credit card generator required. I don't know how they choose who gets that message, but I did and I used it (and now I'm a paid member!). My only suggestion is that you contact staff and ask nicely. They might be willing to credit the trial to your account--no guarantees though.
Such an informative post.Thank you for sharing the great knowledge.
I really don't want to type in my credit card and yet I would like to get the free trial they have offered me. Can I get it without giving away my credit card #?
p.s. if anyone else has a spare credit card I could use JUST FOR THE TRIAL, I won't actually buy anything with it. PM me the #. JUST KIDDING!!!! HAHAHAHA
