How to enable chat?

Sort:
It's already enabled as soon as you start a game. It can be disabled by clicking the "disable chat" button. If your opponent clicks that button, the only way to enable it again is for him/her to enable it again by pressing the "enable chat" button.

Is there an "enable chat" button? I don't think I've seen it.

The "disable chat" button turns into "enable chat" if you're the one who disabled it.

@jp_23: I just tried it out in a Live Chess game (using the new interface), and when I clicked "disable chat," it just disappeared, and "enable chat" didn't appear. Am I doing something differently? Am I using an incorrect version? 
Then it looks like the new one changed that. I hardly do it because it's kind of like telling someone to shut up: which can be interpretted as rude. So if you can't enable the chat then the disable button is final. Use it with caution towards never talking to the person.
