Game Abandoners

Hello, this is has been happening quite frequently as of late - my opponent blunders and then they either disconnect or let the timer run out. I think there should be a way to report players for doing this, as it violates the fair play act. Here is evidence of one person in particular:

You are correct. When there's a will there's a way.

Dang.... Haven't happened to me yet, although doesn't that count as resignation? Of course, maybe not letting the timer run out, but disconnecting I guess?

I abandoned once ... true story! ... here's what happened ... I clicked the wrong button when I was trying to play versus The Computer and clicked to play versus a Real Human instead. When I noticed my mistake, I then instantly jumped out of the game (abandonment!) (BTW it's the only game in my archive; it totals ONE MOVE) and sent an apology via chess.com's personal-message system to the unhappy "victim" of my mistake. It wasn't hard to figure out how to do that. I think it's the least I could have done.

They're small icons under the game. The white flag is resign; the other one is draw. Not sure if draw works -- I've heard complaints.

When a player disconnects on purpose there is a timer that forfeits the game for them automatically. However, what if someone disconnects accidentally like their internet is bad? My game disconnected me automatically and by the time I logged back in I had lost even though I still had 5 minutes left and in a winning position. I was frustrated to say the least.
