I was wondering what to do if I suspect my opponent is consulting an engine in a daily chess game.
My lower rated opponent has been misplaying the opening in both our games, followed by tactically outplaying me like no tomorrow. It seems kind of suspicious, considering his tactics rating is 800, whereas mine is 2300. Anyway, perhaps there is a rational explanation, but I just want to be certain.
Is there a way to manually report this suspicion or do I have to rely on chess.com's automated system of cheating detection?
You are probably mistaken but you can send an email to support@chess.com and they will check it out.
I wouldn't put any weight at all on his tactics rating. It probably just means that he hasn't done a lot of problems.
