Well, there's not an option for "force me to confirm my confirmation", and certainly no option for "force me to confirm that I confirmed my confirmation".

I don't see the problem. Forcing a forced confirmed confirmation with a backup confirmation to boot makes a lot of sense to me for a variety of reasons.

1) You make absolutely sure no pawns are dropped. Ever. Period.

2) You get to go over the confirmation-confirmation-confirmation-confirmation proces approx. 40 times per game which will increase your confirmation abilities to the highest level (CGM).

3) Pop ups are a GOOD thing. Everyone needs to understand and appreciate this.

4) I like horses.

@OP: please go to the link DavidMertz1 provided. You seem to be playing by the touch-move rule. Check your Online Chess settings, and make sure that you have the option "I will click the SUBMIT button to confirm my move" activated. If you have this option selected, then you cannot accidentally submit a move by getting the windows mixed up.

I believe the SUBMIT button vanishes if you alter your settings to play by the touch-move rule in Online Chess. The other option reads: "No need for a SUBMIT button - I play touch move!" If he has this option selected, then he may never see a SUBMIT button.
