Mobile App Unable to Properly Manage Preset Themes

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if my phone is lacking certain requirements necessary to properly run the Chess.com app, but it has trouble with the themes. I notice that when I uninstall and reinstall the app, the problems are alleviated, but they gradually reappear over time. The problems are as follows: 1) When I change themes, the sound set fails to change accordingly. It becomes that only certain boards retain their respective sound set while the other boards lose theirs and instead use one of the other boards' sound sets; 2) When I try to change themes, it says "Can't apply theme: out of memory" and continuously tries to load the theme; 3) The board and pieces sometimes do not match. This can happen on the gameplay screen or in the Theme menu.

which phone and os are you using? more specifics the better!

It's a Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro using Android version 4.1.2.

Yesterday we had problem while loading themes, now it's fixed. As for constant repeats of re-downloading themes - improments was make in new beta(3.1.08b) which will go out of beta soon.

UPDATE: I uninstalled and reinstalled it just now, and this time the sound problem was not alleviated. I selected the Ocean theme, but it used the Nature sound set during my live game. Also, the app seems to be slow at times, recently, but I'm sure that will be temporary.

UPDATE: My Chess - Play & Learn app got updated today, and, again, I selected the Ocean theme, but it used the Nature sound set. I even noticed that during the download of the Ocean theme, where it showed messages like "Downloading Board," "Downloading Pieces," etc., at some point, it actually said "nature/premove.p53" and "nature/capture.p53" (I might not have the last part exactly right). Unless I'm somehow mistaken, I'm pretty sure no two boards are supposed to share the same sound set. Please work on this for the next version.

This may or may not help you, but I noticed that when I download various themes, a lot of them appear to be sharing sound sets: Newspaper and Tigers show paper.mp3 during download, Space and Neon show space.mp3, Marble and Gothic show marble.mp3, and Nature, Ocean, and Sky show nature.mp3. (These are things like space/opponent-move.mp3, marble/pawn-promote.mp3, etc.) The other themes do not show any mp3 information during download.

Sorry, I meant to say that the other themes either do not show any mp3 information during download (Staunton, Bubblegum, Game Room, Light, Dark, Wood), or they simply show the correct and unique mp3 information (Metal shows metal.mp3 and Lolz shows lolz.mp3.)

And Graffiti shows beat.mp3, which is correct and unique.

Yeah, not all themes have unique sounds. It is so by design. So it's ok that you see same mp3 files for different themes.

i installed the app many time and reinstalled it but i have a problem with th themes it never change !!!!!!!!!

i select a theme and it begin to download and ouups it never complet downloading ...

Can anyone help !! 

I see how to change themes on the mobile app, but I do not see how to change my pieces. I am using the Staunton theme but want to use Classic chess pieces.
