opening stats

It would be great to see win loss stats from openings, even black or white dats

You mean, like these from the Game Explorer:

Only your "online" correspondence games are included but it looks like you play the Nimzovich Defense as black against e4 and the best thing we can say is that you have a very unfavorable record playing it, losing 75.6% of the 45 games you have played with it.   You have won 8 times, lost 34 and drawn 3 times.  

Statistics like that might lead some people to question their choice of opening.  My guess is that your  track record with it is understandable since people can use databases to help them play unfamiliar lines in "online chess".

The Nimzovich might be effective for you in live play (I can't say since the statistics aren't available yet for your live games in the Game Explorer) but people seemed to have the Nimzovich figured out in "online chess" against you.

Ok I have located games explorer, how do I add my games to get the stats? Thanks

I see the master games and I see my games but u cannot get any stats if my games, what am u doing wrong thanks anyone if they can help me

warnaldo do you have the second box above the move list checked to "online and live", I can see all your games with white or black but nothing if only "live games" is selected.

and by the way notmtwain was reading your stats wrongly, it would seem you have an excellent record with 1.e4  Nc6 as black.

and another by the way, your games are added automatically to your stats, you dont have to do anything.

K-scope-your'e a star! I see it now-that box did not how on my iphone but is on my laptop so thanks for your help, and your right about my stats too! I got a bit defensive of the Nimzvovich after notmtwain's incorrect reading of my stats-funny how defensive we can be over our "pet" openings.

Sorry for reading it incorrectly.    My only excuse is that I saw it was an unusual line that is considered dubious and I read it expecting that people with access to databases would be able to follow the best path.

At any rate, I love the Game Explorer. Unfortunately, only "daily" games have made it into the stats at this point for most players. For several years, there has been a delay in getting the live games into the database. They fell behind owing to the massive growth of the site and they have tried fixing it by adding servers but so far haven't been able to bring things up to date.

Could someone link the game explorer page that notmtwain is using? Bc the game explorer page I am using does not show "online and live" games, so I can not see my statistics.
