Does anyone else have this error in games where you move the pawn two spaces forward but an opponent then takes the pawn as though you only move it one. It ruins so many games.

It's a legal capture. It's called taking "en passant."

Yes, this has happened to me about 8-10 times. Twice in the same match 5 minutes ago. I thought it was a bug too, but it really is a legal move???

it happened to me just 4 games ago, it was midgame. Its like the game forces you to blunder I placed a pawn on f4 but instead it went to f3

I noticed the bug as well. How can CC not fix such a flaw wink.png.

But the good news is that I use it as well happy

What's (really) funny is that at a lower level, people are surprised by en-passant.
And at a slightly higher level, they usually assume that I will always take en-passant when the situation happens, overlooking other more valuable moves.
