BTW folks take it for granted that they can cut-and-paste in and out of different programs and applications about 99% of the time, but this was not always the case and is in fact quite remarkable IMHO.
Maybe you just post the link to FB page?
same thing happens to me. drives me insane. ill post a note and a space will be removed from the text. so i copy it and delete the original to fix it. and when i paste it. it'll have even more spaces removed. and if i try to post a link to a song or copy a link that someone else has posted. it doesnt work cuz even though the link appears to be correct. it turns out, as i found out by pasting the link into a notepad after copying it from the notes. these blocks are added to the link. i was going to show an example but the blocks seem to disappear when i post the link into the textbox.
I want to use a google translate app to write a note in the native language of an opponent, and then paste it in a chess.com message to that opponent. Is this possible?

@chas8708 - I do this all the time. How are you copying from Google Translate?
On Windows you highlight all the text and either right click>>copy or CTRL-C.
In the chat window, click in the chat window and right click>>paste or CTRL-V.
Then hit enter.
Every time I post a note on one of the groups I'm in by copying text from another site (usually facebook, where our group of Belgian-beer-and-chess-aficionados gathers to plan events), the text which eventually appears on the chess.com "wall" is missing some spaces. This is quite annoying, since I generally like to copy the Facebook event description to our chess.com group (for those who are not registered over at FB), and now I have to go over it completely to add spaces, which sometimes even disappear after posting.
Could this be fixed?
