Puzzle of the Day Comment Setup

Nearly two years later and it's still the same problem: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/daily-puzzles/322012---give-to-get
Some users have made a point of getting onto the first page and putting up a diagram showing analysis, so this might be seen as an improvement in the quality of the comments, but there has been no improvement in the quality of the comment system itself. Perhaps chess.com attracts more users by providing this comment system that promotes a large quantity of comments rather than high quality comments and thus will never change because of the website's target audience. Anyways....
I've done many of the daily puzzles quite regularly, but I have noticed that the method of presenting the comments below the puzzle is greatly flawed. There is far too much space taken up for one-word comments saying "First!" I think that the people who run chess.com ought to solve this problem. Here I will make a few suggestions as to how to solve the problem.
First, chess.com may want to introduce a comment rating system (so other users can rate comments with a thumbs up or thumbs down and unpopular answers will be hidden so that everyone won't have to endure pages of poor quality comments every game of the day).
For the game of the day topic only, I think if you forced people to solve the puzzle before posting (or else penalize the user by placing their post lower down the comment list if they did not solve it) and also penalize people who make many wrong moves when solving the puzzle by placing their comments farther down the comment list as well, then I'm sure many people, myself included, would greatly appreciate the increase in quality of the comments. There are many good comments, however, they are difficult to find seeing as they usually appear on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc page and are hidden among the many worthless comments.
Another ideas for fixing the system, that I think might work better than the two ideas I gave above would be that chess.com should give an option to allow users to sort the order of the comment by something other than the time at which the comments were posted. For example, if there was an option for me to sort the comments by the player's chess rating, then I'm sure that I would be much more likely to see higher quality comments, especially on the game of the day topic, if I sorted them so that the highest rated comments are at the beginning.
Also, going further with the idea above, if you gave users the option to sort the comments by a "user-rated comment quality" then perhaps over time users that give good comments will get a lot of thumbs up by other users for their comments and their good comments will appear first on the list of comments whenever users select the option to sort by "user-rated comment quality". So basically, you allow users to gain a reputation over time by allowing other users to give either a thumbs up or a thumbs down to each of their comments. If it turns out that people give thumbs down more often than thumbs up then I'm sure you could still find a way to keep the reputation of users who comment often (and have received slightly more thumbs down than thumbs up) around the same level as the 0 reputation that users who rarely comment may have.
The reason why I am saying all of this is because I also enjoy looking at the Game of the Day and the Puzzle of the Day at chessgames.com and I must say that the comments on that website are of FAR better quality, on average, than on this website. Not only the quality of the comments is better, but also the comments do not take up as much space so users do not often find an entire page of comments filled up with "First" and other one-word comments. Even just reducing the space that one-word comments take up on this website would greatly reduce the problem that I experience regularly when attempting to see what other users have to say about the puzzle of the day.
So thank you for hearing what I had to say. I very much hope that you do something about this problem. I know that it wouldn't take that much to improve the comment system greatly (especially for the game of the day) so I really think it would be a worthwhile thing for chess.com to do. Thank you again.
