Could you insert in the tactical trainer problems where the player manages to capture just one pawn?

It's the most common situation that happens in real play, and a combination is a combination: it doesn't matter what the target piece is.

Maybe because by training in real play you overlook what it shouldn't be overlooked.

Maybe you never heard of the term "pawn-grabber" but to gain a pawn is not important, since often I sacrifice it in my games just for developing more pieces.

Which would leave the person trying to solve the problem unable to, because once a player understand something about positional play, then there is no reason to focus on winning a pawn.

On the other hand, I can show you positions where GMs win a knight, and you wouldn't be able to win the game (e.g. you could try to play it against an engine) because if you don't have a flawless technique, you don't know how to make that material advantage into a victory.

However make the experiment for yourself, play against an engine, take away a pawn, and move first, and see how many games are you able to win.

You're right, but at least you have the detect the possibility to grab a pawn, then what to do with this information is up to you. Maybe including problems with just one pawn as a target of the combination could be an option you can turn on/off
