Sadly, if one game runs out of time, it put's all of them on vacation. chess.com can count time right but they give extra time on each game so that when you turn off vacation you actually have time to play your games. There have been complaints of glitches with it turning on at random points, but thankfully this usually passes in a few hours, rarely does it last for a few days. The only way to live with this is wait it out. Sadly this may mean losing a little vacation time for nothing. Hint: Only turn off vacation time every like half day! By 12 hours the glitch should be resolved, if not then it really should be within the next 24 hours. Just don't keep turning it off after every game just to play a move! This will make you lose vacation time even faster! Sadly those are the only two choices so I would recommend just waiting it our and let your vacation time slowly wind down but only turn off vacation every 24 hours (basically) so that you don't actually lose vacation time. Use this time, instead of checking games, to go out side and enjoy life!
Not sure where to post this complaint. Why can't chess.com accurately count the remaining time in games?
I was away for the weekend and went on vacation. I just came back and was ready to catch up. I have three games with 84 minutes left. Plenty of time to play, no?
Incorrect. I played the first game within a couple of minutes and by then chess.com had already put me back on vacation. Now I've wasted another day of vacation for nothing.
Is there no way to have my games NOT put on vacation so quickly? I'm tired of wasting my vacation because this happens repeatedly.
It seems in general that chess.com has trouble keeping accurate track of how much time is left in games...
