There are no plans to make a standalone client.

The web browser is fine but there are visual issues. When going full screen and using focus feature to remove menu side bar, the board doesn't take up the full screen. Using browser zoom does weird irreversible things that require reloading the page to correct.

The only way to get focus to properly fill the screen with the board is to reload the page after going full screen, but there's been a problem where if you reload the page before two moves have been played you abort the game. This abort seems to have been fixed now. But the visual layout quirks are still there, in chrome and Firefox.

This may be a windows issue because there are no visual problems in Firefox in my Linux computer.
