Beginners tournament with prizes

Holiday Beginner chess tournament 1200 or less rating starting in December. Daily chess, details in the link.

If you go above 1200 during tournament, you are allowed to remain. Only exception to this rule are players who have clearly started a new account and quickly get above 1200 during tournament (clearly are not a beginner).

First place will get 1 year diamond membership or if they already have the membership, will get $100 thechessstore.com gift card. 

Each round, there will be a random drawing and winners will be gifted a monthly chess.com membership.

Um what does no vacation mean? Does that mean there's no adjournment?

1200 daily 

vacation is when you don't play a game for a while it will stop your clock and wait for you to make you next move then you clock will continue

I joined a tournament but I can't earn award of ' you joined a tournament'.

Sorry, when I updated the tournament it changed it to 10 max players so nobody else could join. It has been changed back. Still lots of room!
