Starting ASAP means that the tournament will start once there is enough players, which could be weeks or could be days.It all depends on the number of players.
The time limit of 3 days means that you have 3 days per move. You don't need to finish in 3 days.

Scrutts, you aren't eligible to play in tournaments quite yet. See this page.
Basically, you need to complete five non-tournament games first (to become familiar with the rules, get a fairly accurate rating, and demonstrate you won't time-out).

Stumbled across the site and i'm quite keen to try an online tourney, the only problem is I don't really understand how to identify when they start. I have checked a few out but the just say start ASAP, does that mean it could be weeks before they kick off ?
My second question, if they have a time limit of 3 days, does that mean you have 3 days to make a move or complete the game ?
Sorry for noob questions but i'm looking forward to playing online although I have only really just learnt the moves :)
Any tourney suggestions would be much appreciated.
