Faulty Settings

I recently started a tournament, Tora Tora Tora, and set it for "Standard chess" no vacation, 3-day move.  Somehow, the tournament ended up being a 1/2 standard chess and 1/2 chess960 tournament, something that I didn't (nor would I ever do).  The people joined the tournament expecting those conditions, as I'm sure the greater majority of them (if you take them at their word - which I do) would not want to participate in such a tournament if they'd known.  Obviously, there was absolutely no indication that this was the type of tournament it was.  Now, participants (myself include) feel this tournament should be voided out and no one's rating should be affected by this obvious glitch/bug or whatever you want to call it.  I petition chess.com to resolve this issue, and all I got was "the tournament cannot be stopped because it's already begun".  I cannot believe this is the case, IT'S THEIR SITE!!!  What would it take for some computer whiz to go into the system, note the ratings at that point and time, void the tournament, and repost the ratings as they were???  Has anybody else had this experience, or am I the first???  If so, can someone tell me how it was resolved???  Additionally, what settings have to be in place to make it 1/2 standard 1/2 chess960?????

agree. i donot like 360 chess but the ratings are different than standard chess;aren't they. if so, once started i don't care  what my rating is with this and consider the results irreveant.

All of my games in the first round were 960, yet when I resigned them, my standard rating when down...WTF???

what do you mean "960?" if the players were then of coure your rating would go down!
