Minimum number of players/rounds - club Swiss

I have created a club for myself and three friends who play a regular round-robin. Will I be able to create a 2-3 round Swiss club tournament with 4 players? I can't find any official direction about the minimum number of players. A formula is stated re the number of rounds, but I don't understand the formula. Any definitive answer greatly appreciated!

So if I understand we have a club of 5 to 8 people playing in our private club , it would be possible to organize a 5 rounds swiss tournament, , Seems to me we tried and maybe we had  wrong settings but the tournament stopped at 3 rounds we were surprised.

What happens if a player withdraws after say 5 rounds? can he be withdrawn before rd6 is drawn?

Guys I tried to create  a live club tournament for my club with the arena format. I set it for 2 hours. 3 people joined but my tournament was cancelled. Can someone enlighten me why it was cancelled. How many players must join from my club in arena format for the tournament not to be cancelled?

Sharing below the response I received from chess.com. It appears a minimum of 5 players is required for a Swiss and 4 players for an Arena tournament.

Due to the requirements of the Swiss format, a larger minimum number of players is needed for the follow numbers of rounds :

5-8 Players = 3 Rounds9-16 Players = 4 Rounds

Otherwise the tournament can't meet these requirements:
1. Pair players with the most similar score throughout subsequent rounds
2. Don't pair the same players more than once
3. Avoid the same player playing the same color consecutively
4. Possibility for at most one undefeated player at the end of the tournament

I hope that makes sense!

For Arena tournaments, you need a minimum of 4 players. We're hoping to add Round-Robin tournaments in the very near future, since they're ideal for much smaller groups.

Avoid the same player playing the same color consecutively?? That rule is wrong!
A problem if we do not have enough players
How many players do you need to run 8 rounds??
Can a swiss be changed to Arena once entries are in?

I got a follow up email from chess.com support:

I've just heard back from our tournament team, and we've very recently changed this! Due to popular demand, you should now be able to do a 2-round tournament with 4 players! happy.png

That’s nice but ideally it would be easy and very helpful to organize tournaments match up with 2 games against each other one black one white starting at 4 players minimum with a formula : numbers of player minus 1 times 2 for the number of games without any byes when even number of player ( so here 6 games )

Then the same formula in the case of an odd number let’s say 5 players with a zero bye point and no game played each round starting randomly with let’s say  player no 1 for round 1 and then player no 2 round 2 etc  ( so here 8 games played total by each player in 5 rounds with one player on hold each round)

I know this is an older post but no, the format can't be changed once scheduled. For 8 rounds you will need 16 members at the start of the tourney or it will automatically decrease the rounds; the number of players divided by two, rounded down.

how many round if i have 4 player
