A tie separates players who finish level on points.
It's the number of points each player you beat has + half the number of points the players you draw with have.
It's calculated retrospectively, so it doesn't matter if you beat someone when they only have only played one game, your tiebreak score will adjust for their future games.
Can anybody out there tell me the significance of the Tie column? For example, a player, like today, has 3/4 wins but the Tie coplumn reads 5. How does that work? The Tie rating affects your overall placing. Having read some posts I am aware that others do not understand it also.
