Titled Tuesday Timings

As a junior, a mere 58 USCF points away from the National Master title, this topic might soon become relevant to you. With that said, do you have anything insightful to add to the table?

You're right, the current schedule means it's inconvenient for literally everyone but GM Hikaru

I guess when you got the NM title, they forgot to mention that the world does not revolve around you. They save that perk for the GM title, so keep practicing.
well the unfortunate thing is that it affects not only OP, but also many other titled players

Did I not very clearly mention in my original post that I am aware that the world does not revolve around me, but that the current timings do not serve the vast majority of the titled player population?
Upon earning my NM title last summer, one of the things I most looked forward to was playing in Titled Tuesdays. However, with the current timings of 8 AM and 2 PM PT, my school schedule has prevented this possibility except during breaks. Of course, no times will work best for everybody with players from all over the world, but the current schedule does not serve the vast majority of players. Here's why:
8 AM PT: The North/South American West Coast will be getting ready for work, the Central and Eastern times will be at work, Europe will barely have just gotten back from work, and Asia will go to sleep before or during the tournament depending on longitude. 2 PM PT: The entirety of the Americas is still at work, while Europe and Asia are deep asleep.
Of course, the timings may suit professionals who play chess full-time, but most titled players do not fit this category. It seems to me that the best times for the two events would be 5:30 PM PT (suitable for all players in North/South America) and 8:30 AM PT (reasonable for North/South American professionals, ideal for Europe (5:30 PM), and late but feasible for Indian players (10 PM). These same arguments hold from a viewership perspective.
Could somebody explain the logic behind the current Titled Tuesday schedule to me?
